Important Message Regarding Inclement Weather and the Exam and Culminating Schedule
This is a message to let parents and students know that high school exams start on Wednesday, January 24. Despite the freezing rain, the exam schedule remains unchanged. Students are encouraged to check their class webpages, where applicable, for reviews and other course content to assist with preparing for exams.
Culminating Activities that were scheduled for today are cancelled. Teachers are finding alternate means to assess the students. Teachers may give students another opportunity to write their culminating if they wish after an exam for instance. In other situations teachers may modify their exam to allow some time for the Culminating Activity. These are examples of strategies teachers may use to assist the students. In every case the teachers will be making decisions that support the students.
A reminder that schools always remain open on snow days and we encourage students to come into the school and connect with their teachers. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school.
